Long Term Contract

Skills and Experience

·The capacity and background in strategic thinking, coupled with an optimistic drive to resolve issues or enhance procedures. This might entail starting with our vision and thinking through several, possibly creative, possible solutions. Not all inputs will be fully defined, so dealing with ambiguity and unknowns will be necessary. However, this presents an opportunity to influence

·Degree-level or comparable training in mathematics, engineering, physical sciences, or a related field.

·Achieving professional recognition by joining the right organisation or working towards it.

·Previous work experience in these fields, preferably in a highly regulated sector.(Note: While experience in the nuclear sector would be ideal, it is not required; we will also take into account experience in other power generation, the process industry, oil and gas, defence, aerospace, etc.)

·The capacity to plan out a timetable for a complicated programme, like the on-site commissioning activities. It should be noted that the necessary expertise is not in particular software, such as Microsoft Project or Oracle P6, but rather in the concepts of robust schedule construction.

·These include recognising dependencies and reaching agreements with collaborating teams, estimating task durations through comparative benchmarking and bottom-up assessments, etc.

Job Description

·The preparation of a timetable that is designed to facilitate on-site commissioning.

·Completely synchronised with the construction schedule, and spearheading modifications to that schedule to deliver the ideal power plant delivery timetable.

·Solid duration estimates that are supported by bottom-up estimates created from thorough task planning and benchmarking exercises (in collaboration with the plant design teams)

·Achieving our goal of a top-notch commissioning programme by implementing a crucial strategic enabler.

·For instance, using digital thinking to change a traditionally "paper-based" task could fall under this category. The process will begin with a study and optioneering of various possible solutions, followed by the creation of an implementation plan and, if necessary, collaboration with other cross-functional teams.

·Creating thorough plans for the pre-commissioning tasks that will be carried out on our factory-built modules while they are in the factory setting. This would be accomplished in close coordination with our factory-design and other operations teams, and would involve an assessment of the facilities and personnel needed.

·There will be opportunities for the engineer to work in both areas, defining and planning Equipment Qualification activities, for example, as the commissioning strategy team is integrated with the team responsible for the power plant design verification.
