Cast UK is recruiting on behalf of a forward-thinking client for a Purchasing Coordinator to play a key role in their procurement and supply chain team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong purchasing experience to join a growing business and contribute to a well-established supply chain function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and process purchase orders
  • Action MRP recommendations and maintain ERP data
  • Liaise with suppliers and track order progress
  • Support supplier negotiations and relationship management
  • Monitor KPIs and identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Assist with supplier sourcing and NPI projects
  • Collaborate with planning and operations teams
  • Handle purchasing admin and internal communications

What We're Looking For:

  • At least 2 years' experience in a purchasing or supply chain role
  • Proven ability in supplier sourcing and relationship management
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills across all levels
  • Proficient in MRP/ERP systems, ideally within an SME environment
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Professional procurement qualification (e.g. CIPS) preferred or working towards
  • Manufacturing industry experience is a plus
