Cast UK is recruiting on behalf of a forward-thinking client for a Purchasing Coordinator to play a key role in their procurement and supply chain team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong purchasing experience to join a growing business and contribute to a well-established supply chain function.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and process purchase orders
- Action MRP recommendations and maintain ERP data
- Liaise with suppliers and track order progress
- Support supplier negotiations and relationship management
- Monitor KPIs and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Assist with supplier sourcing and NPI projects
- Collaborate with planning and operations teams
- Handle purchasing admin and internal communications
What We're Looking For:
- At least 2 years' experience in a purchasing or supply chain role
- Proven ability in supplier sourcing and relationship management
- Strong verbal and written communication skills across all levels
- Proficient in MRP/ERP systems, ideally within an SME environment
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Professional procurement qualification (e.g. CIPS) preferred or working towards
- Manufacturing industry experience is a plus
