Daily Rate: 160-230 (depending on experience)

Academics Ltd, a specialist education recruitment agency based in Stoke-on-Trent, is working in partnership with an excellent secondary school in Stafford to appoint an inspiring and enthusiastic Teacher of Mathematics. This is a long-term role starting December 2025 and expected to run until February half term initially, with the strong possibility of extension.

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Maths teacher to join a high-performing and supportive Mathematics department. The successful candidate will:

• Teach Maths across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Inspire students and deliver engaging, creative lessons
• Contribute to the school's rich extra-curricular programme
• Demonstrate high expectations and a commitment to student progress

Requirements

• QTS/QTLS or equivalent recognised UK teaching qualification
• Experience teaching Maths in UK secondary schools up to KS4
• A positive, proactive and committed teaching approach
