About the Role

As a General Cover Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver pre-planned lessons across a variety of subjects

  • Maintain a positive and productive learning environment

  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies

  • Adapt confidently to different school settings

  • Ensure continuity of learning in the absence of the class teacher

Requirements

To be considered for the role of a Teacher you will:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Specialism subject with experience teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • A proactive and flexible approach to teaching.
  • An enhanced DBS check registered to the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
