I am recruiting for a Product/Assessment Manager for a leading & repeat client who specialises in the assessment & accreditation of UK organisations. The successful candidate will have strong supply chain & quality management systems experience within 17025 and ideally, experience working with or for an accredited/certified body. The role will focus on Quality Management Systems (QMS), bringing a wealth of experience in overseeing and coordinating all aspects of accreditation & assessment within this field. This is a full-time remote position, working from 9am–5pm, Monday to Friday with occasional weekend travel. Please note, you should expect to travel for up to 2-3 days per week, with at least 2 nights spent away from home. This is an opportunity to work in the public interest for the world’s leading accreditation body.

Main Duties: 

  • The post calls for someone with a real passion for quality and a strong track record of working within accredited Certification Body.
  • The Product/Assessment Manager is the key focal point for customers. You’ll be expected to meet their reasonable accreditation expectations with objectivity, diligence, and excellent customer service.
  • You will also be responsible for selecting assessment teams within 17025, establishing the assessment approach, leading & coordinating the team(s), collating and reporting on each assessment, progressing each project from start to finish.
  • The position involves extensive travel, mainly within the UK, with frequent overnight stays. A valid UK driving license and vehicle are therefore essential

Key Requirements: 

  • Relevant hands-on experience, a broad knowledge of QMS within 17025 - essential.
  • Excellent understanding of the supply chain process within this field.
  • Be customer-focused with excellent interpersonal, communication and organisation skills - essential.
  • Must have a valid UK driving license and own vehicle - essential.
  • Have experience in organisation auditing or assessment - essential.
  • Commercial-minded with excellent people and project management skills.
