Our client is looking for a 360 Machine Operative to join their team.
Job Purpose:The purpose of the 360 operative is to ensure:路 In-feed materials are constantly and uniformly fed into the Metso shredder, ensuring maximum shredder production, 路 That different in-feed materials are blended sufficiently prior to placing within the shredder,路 That large/bulky items, items of a potential damaging nature or unwanted composition are removed from the in-feed waste prior to placing into the shredder,路 To help maintain a clear tipping hall floor for waste deliveries by heaping up feed stock and working from the waste heap face.路 To maintain the 360 Materials Handler and Metso Shredder as appropriate.路 To assist in identifying any problematic waste deliveries with regards to suitability for purpose, composition and nature.
360 Machine Operative job duties:路 Complete daily Mobile Plant maintenance check sheets in full as directed for the 360 Materials Handler and Metso shredder,路 Keep inside of cab and machine clean and tidy;路 Make sure both the 360 and Metso is full of Diesel and AdBlue at the end of the shift, filters and radiators are blown out in readiness for the following shift.路 The 360 driver is the key person responsible for notifying the Maintenance team of shredder through put issues and assisting with any blockages which occur during operation.路 The 360 driver is the key person with regards to Fire Watch duties during shift operation.
All plant operatives must leave their machine in a clean and suitable condition for the following shift. This will include:路 Diesel路 Engine/Hydraulic Oils路 AdBlue路 Greasing the machine up in full路 Blow out cab of engine filters and radiator路 Blow out and clean cab and any other duties required to maintain plant item
drivers, if certified, will be required to operate the other plant items as and when required. When the plant is not operating, all mobile plant operatives will be required to perform other duties and will be asked to complete other duties.All mobile plant operators will be required to cover a weekend loading day. This will be on a rota basis utilising all certified mobile plant operatives.
Pay - 拢15.00 per hour
