My well established, market leading Client is urgently recruiting for a skilled and detail-oriented Architectural Technician to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the commercial sector, ideally with experience in the design and delivery of light industrial and warehouse developments. This is a key role supporting projects from concept through to completion, with a strong emphasis on technical design and construction stages.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate and detailed technical drawings using Revit and AutoCAD
Work across all RIBA stages from concept design through to handover
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and consultants to ensure coordinated and buildable solutions
Support planning and building regulations applications
Conduct site visits and support the construction process with technical advice
Ensure compliance with UK building regulations and industry standards
Requirements:
Qualification in Architectural Technology or related discipline
3+ years of experience in an architectural or design practice
Strong experience in commercial and light industrial/warehouse projects
Proficiency in Revit is essential
Thorough knowledge of UK Building Regulations and planning procedures
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
