Position: Plater Welder
Location: KettonNorthamptonand Buxton
Hours: 10hr shifts, Mon-Sun
Start Dates: 5th Jan 2026
PAYE Pay Rates:
Basic Days: 20.73/hr
Basic Nights: 26.22/hr
O/T 1: 29.02/hr
O/T 2: 37.32/hr
Lodge, Travel, Subsistence allowances
The Role:
Our client has a requirement for Plater Welders for a shutdown on a cement plant in Ketton from 5th Jan - 26th Jan on Days, followed by 2nd Feb - 20th Feb at Buxton, Nights. Duties will include:
- Using oxyacetylene burning equipment to remove sections of plate
- Setting out, marking and cutting steel plate
- Repairing heat distorted steel plate
- Plate, pipe, channel and bracket repairs
- MMA welding on mild steel plate
Essential Requirements:
- CCNSG card
- MP Connect registration (required for Buxton)
- Experience of working on large industrial sites (cement, power, refinery, steel)
