We're a very well established SME British engineering company who offer full after sales & service support to the clients of a major Italian packaging machinery manufacturer. 聽 BASIC SALARY: Up to 拢45,000聽聽 BENEFITS:路 Overtime to earn circa 拢10,000 (paid door to door) 路 Generous Car Allowance 路 Full company benefits package 聽 LOCATION: Covering the UK & Ireland 70%, but factory based in Corby 30% of the time. 聽 COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: Corby, Peterborough, Northampton, Stamford, Leicester, Lincoln, Bedford 聽 JOB DESCRIPTION: Mechanical Service Engineer, Maintenance Engineer - Packaging Machinery, Industrial Capital Equipment 聽 A classic field Service Engineer role involving repair, refurbishment, upgrades, installations and commissioning of a range of packaging machinery supplied to the food, pharmaceutical and other manufacturing industries. 聽 Travelling to client sites 70% of the time, and spending 1 to 2 nights away from home per week on average, but weekend work is voluntary so we offer a good work life balance. 聽 Spending time not on client site in the factory in Corby 30%. 聽 PERSON SPECIFICATION: Mechanical Service Engineer, Maintenance Engineer - Packaging Machinery, Industrial Capital Equipment 聽 路 You WILL be an experienced field Service or Maintenance Engineer of industrial or special purpose machinery. 路 You MUST be a qualified Mechanical Engineer or completed a full apprenticeship. 路 Any electrical engineering qualifications or experience would be a bonus. 聽 Exposure, or previous hands experience of packaging machinery would be an obvious advantage - ideally in the food and / or pharmaceutical sectors - but we're open on any special purpose, industrial machinery experience. 聽 THE COMPANY:聽 A small and very well established British engineering company who offer full after sales and service support to the clients of a major Italian packaging machinery manufacturer.
