Residential Conveyancer – Full-Time (Hybrid Working Available)Location: Stamford with occasional travel Hours: Monday – Friday, 09:00 – 17:30 (37.5 hours per week)

An award-winning and well-established law firm is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join its busy and expanding property team. You will be based in  the Stamford with flexibility around home working and occasional travel for meetings, training, or business development.

The Role:

This is a full-service position managing a caseload of varied residential property matters. You will handle transactions from instruction through to post-completion, ensuring compliance, client care and efficiency throughout.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of residential transactions including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages and transfers of equity
  • Handle matters involving trusts, attorneys, matrimonial aspects and estates
  • Work independently on post-completion tasks including Land Registry and SDLT requirements
  • Liaise effectively with clients, agents, lenders and third parties to progress transactions smoothly
  • Offer technical guidance to team members when needed
  • Demonstrate the ability to manage complex matters such as shared ownership, lease extensions and new builds
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and uphold internal quality standards
  • Actively participate in business development and maintain professional networks

About You:

  • Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or Chartered Legal Executive (or qualified by experience)
  • Proven experience managing your own caseload of varied residential conveyancing matters
  • Comfortable handling complex or technical issues, including title rectification
  • Strong IT skills including MS Office and case management systems
  • Excellent communication, time management and organisational skills
  • Able to work well independently and collaboratively within a team
