Heating Engineer

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Heating Engineer to join our growing team, working for a family run Renewables company based in Buntingford, Hertfordshire on a permanent basis. This Heating Engineer role is ideal for a qualified professional who takes pride in their work and can operate independently while maintaining high standards of organisation and punctuality.

Key Responsibilities of the Heating Engineer :

To be successful in this Heating Engineer position:

• The Heating Engineer will be responsible for installation, servicing, and repair of domestic systems.


• Gas boiler installations and maintenance.


• In charge of Installation and commissioning of heat pump systems.


• Fault diagnosis and efficient problem solving.


• You will ensure all work complies with current safety standards and regulations.


• Responsible for completing job documentation accurately and on time.


• As the Heating Engineer, you will provide a professional and courteous service to customers.


• Gas Safe registered or proven experience installing heat pump systems.


• Experience with renewable technologies.


• Relevant NVQ in Plumbing or equivalent qualifications.


• Able to work independently without supervision.


• Have strong organisational skills with excellent timekeeping.


• Hold a full UK driving licence.


• Good communication and customer service skills.
