Electrical Technicians / Electrical Maintenance Engineers

Salary:  £62,600 (+ Bonus up to £5,500)
Shift: Panama – 2’s and 3’s (Days and Nights)
Location: Stanford-le-Hope, Essex

We are currently recruiting for skilled Electrical Technicians/Electrical Maintenance Engineers to join a leading distribution business at Stanford-le-Hope in Essex. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, ensuring the smooth operation of electrical systems within a large-scale logistics facility.

Skills Required for the Electrical Technician / Electrical Maintenance Engineer:

  • Recognised electrical qualification (Min NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds Level 3)
  • Experience with electrical maintenance, installations, and fault-finding
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
  • Ability to carry out maintenance on Inverters
  • Experience with PLC Systems – Fault Finding
  • Must be comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Experience of working with Cranes & Lifting Equipment would be advantageous.
  • Be prepared to work a 2’s and 3’s Days and Nights rotating shift pattern.

Duties of the Electrical Technician / Electrical Maintenance Engineer:

  • Electrical maintenance, repairs, and installations within a busy distribution centre
  • Diagnosing and resolving electrical faults to minimise downtime
  • Ensuring compliance with electrical safety standards
  • Working on single and three-phase systems
