Maintenance Electrician

Essentia Solutions are currently recruiting on behalf successful of a facilities company based in Essex.

We are currently looking to recruit an established Maintenance Electrician to work on site at one of their long standing customers

The duties of the role will include:

• Maintenance and repair:

  Perform planned maintenance on electrical equipment and systems, including lighting, power, heating, ventilation, and emergency systems.Respond to and repair faults as they arise.

• Testing and inspection:

  Test electrical systems to ensure they are safe and comply with current regulations (e.g., IET Wiring Regulations).Perform Portable Appliance Testing (PAT).

• Installation and upgrades:

  Install new electrical equipment, control panels, and smart systems for lighting, heating, and security.

• Troubleshooting:

  Diagnose and resolve issues with electrical systems, equipment, and components.

• Emergency response:

  Participate in an on-call or call-out rota to respond to urgent maintenance needs and emergencies.

• Compliance and documentation:

  Ensure all work is performed according to health and safety standards, and maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and failures.

As a qualified Maintenance Electrician you will hold the following skills and qualifications:

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
• 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations.
• Testand inspection (2391 qualification) is highly desirable.
• A valid driver's license
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
• Familiarity with general building maintenance tasks arebeneficial.
