The company:

Based in South Essex, you will be joining a well-known and rapidly growing manufacturing business with a range of products used in the Oil & Gas, Motorsport, marine industries and more!

Due to continued expansion, the company is now seeking a Shift Production Operator to join their team on a three-shift rota. The successful candidate will be part of a close-knitted team and will work on the production of their product.

The ideal candidate will come from a chemical manufacturing background or similar and will have experience in the use of manual machinery and the ability to work from specific instructions. The successful candidate will receive full training and will be guided into the role.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Using manual machinery and equipment
  • Working to specific instructions and step-by-step guides
  • Producing reports and documentation
  • Quality control
  • Working to tight health and safety procedures.

This is just a summed-up list of responsibilities and other duties will be required.

Skills and Experience required:

  • Experience in a role within a manufacturing environment- ideally chemical manufacturing
  • Experience in the use of manual machinery
  • Able to work to strict health & safety rules and procedures
  • Quality management experience
  • Strong attention to detail
