Trainee Production Operative

Location: Stanford-Le-Hope, Essex

Duration: Permanent

Hours: 3-weekly shift pattern (Earlies: 5am - 13:30pm, Lates: 13:00pm - 21:30pm, Nights 21:00pm - 05:30am)

Days: Full time, Monday to Friday

Salary: £37,750 per annum

We are looking for a trainee Production Operative to join our client working with bespoke and technical products.

Job Description:

  • Undertake site operations ensuring safety, efficiency and accuracy.
  • Help with product movement and blending.
  • Housekeeping standards, including waste fuel handling.
  • Act as an appointed fire Marshall.
  • Work with the team leader to execute the daily and weekly blending plan.

Key Person specification:

  • Have good literacy and numeracy skills in order to complete written works documentation.
  • Able to follow instructions to ensure safe execution of plant machinery and equipment.
  • Have a positive go-getter attitude.
  • Have enthusiasm and perseverance.
  • Knowledge of working with CAF production standards.
  • Understanding of health and Safety
  • Practical experience in the use of computerized supply chain management would be advantageous.
