European Road Freight Operator - Groupage Exports
Location: London Gateway area
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Up to 37,000 per annum (depending on experience)
We are looking for an experienced European Road Freight Operator to join a busy and friendly export team within a well-established international freight forwarding business. This is a great opportunity for someone with solid groupage experience who is looking for stability, progression, and a supportive environment.
The Role
- Handle European groupage export operations.
- Arrange freight movement from origin to final destination.
- Liaise with customers, suppliers, and overseas partners.
- Process and check Customs documentation.
- Work as part of a team of 20 within a larger department of 60.
- Manage both international and national road freight consignments.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years' experience in European road freight operations.
- Confident in manual costing and quoting.
- Strong understanding of taxable kilos and freight calculations.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Experience handling Customs paperwork.
