About the Position
DMG Education are currently working in partnership with a secondary school in Stanford-le-Hope, Thurrock who are looking for an outstanding Maths teacher to join them from September on a permanent basis. They are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths teacher with a passion for Mathematics? They are looking for a maths teacher with the skills to inspire and engage young minds? They are seeking a talented Secondary Mathematics Teacher to join their dynamic and supportive team on a permanent basis. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality Mathematics lessons to students in Years 7-12.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to a diverse range of learning styles and abilities.
- Monitor and assess students' progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages students to reach their full potential.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of the Mathematics curriculum.
- Participate in extracurricular activities, including Maths clubs and competitions, to enhance students' learning experiences.
- Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers to keep them informed about their child's progress and any concerns.
Qualifications and Experience
- A degree in Mathematics or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
- Proven experience teaching Mathematics at the secondary level.
- Strong subject knowledge and a deep understanding of the Mathematics curriculum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and a willingness to learn new teaching strategies.
