?? Location: Stanford-le-Hope, Essex?? Position: Full-Time - 12-Hour Shifts (7am-7pm & 7pm-7am, including weekends & sleep-ins)?? Salary:£26,325 per year (plus overtime and sleep-in enhancements)?? Start Date: Immediate start available

Are you passionate about providing exceptional care and support to children and young people? Join our team at a well-established 5-bed mixed gender children's residential home in Stanford-le-Hope.

We support children aged 8-18 with learning disabilities, providing a safe, nurturing environment where each young person is empowered to reach their full potential.

?? Your Role:

As a Support Worker, you will:

  • Deliver high-quality, personalised care to children and young people of all genders
  • Support with personal care, education, social skills, and daily living activities
  • Promote independence, positive behaviour, and emotional wellbeing
  • Maintain accurate records and work within safeguarding frameworks
  • Participate in community activities and outings
  • Work flexibly across 12-hour shifts:
    • Day shifts: 7:00am-7:00pm
    • Night shifts: 7:00pm-7:00am
    • Including weekends and sleep-ins on a rota
  • Overtime available

? Essential Requirements:

  • Experience in a residential care setting
  • Full manual UK driving licence held for 2+ years with no points
  • Clean Enhanced DBS and right to work in the UK
  • Full flexibility to work across day, night, weekend, and sleep-in shifts
  • Strong communication and team-working skills
  • Commitment to safeguarding vulnerable children

  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards it)
  • Understanding of autism, sensory needs, and positive behaviour support
