Are you passionate about providing exceptional care and support to children and young people? Join our team at a well-established 5-bed mixed gender children's residential home in Stanford-le-Hope.
We support children aged 8-18 with learning disabilities, providing a safe, nurturing environment where each young person is empowered to reach their full potential.
?? Your Role:
As a Support Worker, you will:
- Deliver high-quality, personalised care to children and young people of all genders
- Support with personal care, education, social skills, and daily living activities
- Promote independence, positive behaviour, and emotional wellbeing
- Maintain accurate records and work within safeguarding frameworks
- Participate in community activities and outings
- Work flexibly across 12-hour shifts:
- Day shifts: 7:00am-7:00pm
- Night shifts: 7:00pm-7:00am
- Including weekends and sleep-ins on a rota
- Overtime available
? Essential Requirements:
- Experience in a residential care setting
- Full manual UK driving licence held for 2+ years with no points
- Clean Enhanced DBS and right to work in the UK
- Full flexibility to work across day, night, weekend, and sleep-in shifts
- Strong communication and team-working skills
- Commitment to safeguarding vulnerable children
�? Desirable:
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards it)
- Understanding of autism, sensory needs, and positive behaviour support
