Powder Coater

Powder Coater:-

• Preparation work including shot blasting to prepare items for powder coating
• Priming and powder coating a range of sheet metal products
• Maintaining Health & Safety standards
• Performing quality checks on powder coated items before packaging
• Monitoring powder stock levels
• Daily cleaning and maintenance of the powder coating workshop
• Assisting with general production in the workshop where required

As the Powder Coater you will:

• Come from an engineering background with an ability to read drawings
• Ideally have previous experience of working in a powder coating workshop
• Have a strong attention to detail to finish items to a high standard
• Be comfortable working in confined spaces at times
• Have excellent communication skills in order to communicate with colleagues, managers and office staff in relation to production, quality and Health and Safety issues
• Be a team player with excellent problem solving skills
• Be able to prioritise your own workload and work well under minimal supervision
• Be expected to inspect your own work and report any quality issues

Due to this company's location you will need to hold a driving license and have your own transport.

The successful candidate will be flexible and available for overtime when required

Rate depending on shifts/rotation
