Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct visual inspections of welded structures to ensure compliance with specifications, drawings, and industry standards.
- Perform dye pen and chemi inspections (NPI) on welded structures to identify any defects or flaws in the welding process.
- Conduct MPI inspections on welded structures (preferably).
- Interpret and understand technical drawings and welding symbols.
- Ensure compliance with applicable safety regulations and industry standards.
- Provide reports detailing inspection results and any necessary corrective actions.
- Communicate effectively with welding teams to provide guidance on welding techniques and practices.
Requirements:
- C-Swip 3.0 & 3.1 certified (Visual Welding Inspection).
- Several years of stable experience in a welding inspection role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Dye Pen and Chemi trained (NPI).
- MPI trained (preferably).
- Understanding of technical drawings and welding symbols.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects or flaws in welding processes.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
