DUTIES
Your duties and responsibilities as the Class Teacher will include:
- Take responsibility for the learning, progress, and wellbeing of all pupils, ensuring equality of opportunity and maintaining the highest standards of work and conduct
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons, using assessment and feedback effectively to support pupils’ achievement across a range of abilities and needs
- Engage in continuous professional development, proactively reflecting on and improving teaching practice, and contributing to the wider life and ethos of the school
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, external agencies, and the wider Trust community to support the best interests of pupils
- Promote and safeguard the welfare of students, ensuring compliance with school policies and protocols
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- Qualified to bachelor’s degree level in relevant or allied subject
- QTS qualified
- Able to work independently, collaboratively and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills with children, parents and carers
- Ability to create and maintain professional working relationships
- Commitment to the safeguarding and welfare of all students
