CNC Miller

CNC Miller - We are looking for an experienced and accomplished CNC Miller with 5 axis or horizontal machining experience and ideally some experience with pallet loading automation systems. This is a new role with new machines at a fast growing successful and diverse sub-contract precision engineering company supporting the aerospace and military industries.

Whilst no offline programming experience is necessarily required, it would be a bonus or could also be an area for personal development.

Key Responsibilities:
- Set and operate 5 axis CNC milling machines with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
- Utilise horizontal milling techniques for complex components.
- Adjust and offset machines using Fanuc control systems.
- Ensure the automation processes are streamlined and meet production goals.
- Manage and maintain the pallet systems to optimise production workflow.
- Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues promptly to minimise downtime.

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a CNC Miller with expertise in complex 5 axis machining.
- Proficiency in operating Fanuc-controlled CNC machines.(cross training on controls is considered)
- Ideally experienced in horizontal milling and automation processes.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
