About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Surveyor to join a leading windows and doors specialist covering Hertfordshire, Essex, and the surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional Surveyor with a strong background in surveying and installation to work on high-quality projects in a permanent role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Arrange and attend appointments with customers to carry out surveys.
- Review contracts and discuss design and installation choices with clients.
- Conduct accurate surveys to determine manufacturing sizes and ensure a perfect fit.
- Assess the suitability of existing openings, including structural support and ventilation.
- Identify any discrepancies between contracts sold and work to be completed.
- Liaise with the Contracts Manager regarding any alterations to contracts.
- Produce detailed survey documentation to enable order processing and installation.
- Determine required materials and components based on survey findings.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous experience in fenestration surveying.
- Specialised knowledge of sliding sash window installation.
- Strong understanding of current Building Regulations.
- Methodical, accurate, and detail-oriented work ethic.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good knowledge of the fenestration and glazing industry.
- Computer literate.
