They’re seeking an Inflatables Fitter to join their skilled team, working on vital aircraft safety equipment such as emergency slides and life rafts. This is your opportunity to work on life-saving systems in a clean, well-equipped workshop with a collaborative team atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
- Disassemble, test, and repair aircraft safety equipment (slides, rafts, sub-components)
- Reassemble to exact specifications using CMMs/OHMs and OEM packing instructions
- Follow detailed compliance procedures and documentation
- Ensure top-tier workmanship while meeting safety and quality standards
What we’re looking for:
- GCSE Maths & English (or equivalent)
- Previous engineering/workshop experience is desirable
- Familiarity with compliance manuals and MRO procedures
- Prior experience with aircraft safety equipment packing/repair is advantageous
- Positive attitude, reliable team player with great attention to detail
- Confident communicator with strong organisational skills
- Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure
