Job Title: Financial Accountant
Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 p.a.
Hours: Full time
Location: Stansted
Casanovas Recruitment Solutions are seeking a detail-driven and commercially minded individual with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of financial reporting standards. Main areas of responsibility:
- Prepare high-quality monthly management accounts
- Assist in the production of financial statements, including balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement
- Monitor and record financial transactions with accuracy
- Support the development and management of company budgets
- Analyse financial data using ratios and trend analysis to highlight areas for improvement
- Assist in preparing and filing tax returns
- Contribute to audit preparation and ensure compliance with relevant standards
Required Skills & Desired Experience:
- ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified (or equivalent), with at least 5 years’ post-qualification experience
- Strong financial analysis skills with advanced Excel and data manipulation capabilities
- In-depth knowledge of UK GAAP and working knowledge of international standards
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics or other ERP/accounting software
- Understanding of ESG and environmental reporting
- Strong knowledge of corporate governance and audit procedures
- Proven budgeting and forecasting expertise
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Adaptability and a proactive approach to continuous improvement
