Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated HR Manager to join a growing and award-winning organisation. This is a pivotal role with full responsibility for leading and developing the HR function across a multi-site business. You will play a key role in shaping the culture, driving people initiatives, and supporting organisational growth.

This is a full-time, office-based role in Stansted, with occasional travel to regional sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and modernise the HR function to support business goals and culture

  • Provide clear, practical advice and guidance to leadership and line managers

  • Manage employee relations, performance, engagement, and wellbeing initiatives

  • Oversee recruitment activities, agency relationships, and PSL management

  • Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices

  • Handle HR administration and plan for future team growth

  • Support Health & Safety from an HR perspective, ensuring employee wellbeing

  • Lead HR projects including benchmarking, surveys, and culture development

  • Organise and contribute to internal events and recognition initiatives

Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in an HR leadership role

  • CIPD qualified (Level 5 minimum preferred)

  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR compliance

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels

  • Confident in dealing with senior stakeholders and external partners

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel

  • Understanding of Health & Safety principles within HR

  • Proactive, hands-on, and solutions-focused approach
