Engine Mechanic/ Technician Opportunity

Are you an experienced aerospace industry professional with a passion for engine maintenance and repair? This company is seeking a skilled Engine Mechanic/Technician to join their dynamic team in Stansted.

As an Engine Mechanic/Technician, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance and repair activities on various engine types, including CFM56, LEAP, V2500, RB211, CF6, CF34, PW4000, PW1000G, and Trent700. Your primary focus will be to work collaboratively with the team to ensure efficient turnaround of engine shop inputs while maintaining the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in the day-to-day operation of the busy engine workshop
- Carry out maintenance and repair tasks in accordance with relevant manuals and industry regulations
- Contribute to meeting company objectives and performance targets
- Promote a safe and efficient working environment
- Adhere to the company's health, safety, and security policies
- Demonstrate a flexible and proactive approach to problem-solving

Qualifications and Experience:
- Time-served aerospace industry apprenticeship with a minimum of 2 years' post-apprenticeship experience
- Previous experience working in a busy engine shop on the engine types listed above
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of engine shop manuals and associated documentation
- Awareness of Part 145 and FAA regulations
- Existing company approval on at least one of the listed engine types
- Desirable: Borescope inspection experience, Human Factors training, EWIS and Fuel Tank Safety certifications
