The right PLC Control Specialist will support the site's maintenance team (Controls/Technically) within a purpose-built, site-based automation environment.
PLC Control Specialist
- To support the PLC technical repairs
- Prioritise system faults.
- Error management
- Technical fault management, controller and communications to the wider network.
- adhering to agreed communication and fault management processes.
- Identifying any process failures and escalating as required
- Targeting maintenance activities as identified via the EIS / SCADA data analysis
- Root-cause analysis of faults using industry-recognised tools
- Rectification and prevention of issues
- Experience with Siemens S7, ProfNet, Profibus, and Ladder
Qualifications: PPLC Control Specialist
- ONC-HNC-HND qualified engineering, OR BSc, or MSc
- Electrical control system experience
- Site-Based FMCG works/experiences.
