Customer Service Representative Location: Staveley, Chesterfield Salary: £26,000 – £30,000 per annum, dependent on experience Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm. One to two Saturdays per month, 8:30am to 2:00pm (paid at time and a half)
Francesca’s Recruitment Ltd is currently recruiting for a Customer Service Representative on behalf of a well-established business based in Staveley, Chesterfield.
This is a customer-facing role requiring a professional, well-presented individual with strong communication and sales skills. The successful candidate will be confident engaging with both trade and public customers, providing product advice, processing orders, and contributing to a positive in-store experience.
Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the first point of contact for walk-in customers, providing product guidance and support

Process orders and payments accurately using the till system

Handle telephone and email enquiries in a professional manner

Recommend additional products to increase sales where appropriate

Liaise with suppliers to obtain product details, pricing, and availability

Maintain relationships with key account customers

Assist with stock management, documentation, and occasional trade events
Candidate Requirements:

Previous experience in customer service and sales

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Professional appearance and confident manner

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Interest in campervans or motorhomes is advantageous but not essential

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
This role would particularly suit candidates from customer-facing retail environments, the motor trade, caravan and leisure industries, or similar sectors where product knowledge and customer interaction are key.
