Sub Agent

Contract Scotland is working in partnership with a leading civil engineering contractor to recruit a Sub Agent for a significant infrastructure project. This is a freelance role with long-term prospects and a clear scope of works focused on large-scale earthworks and associated groundworks.

• Bulk earthworks (approximately 1 million cubic metres – cut and fill)

• Installation of surface water management systems

• Construction of haul roads and access roads

• SUDS and swale features

• Piling platform construction

As Sub Agent, you will play an essential role in supporting the site team and coordinating daily operations. Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and managing RAMS

• Producing bi-weekly lookahead programmes

• Supporting and overseeing the engineering team on site

• Assisting the site foreman with operational delivery

• Coordinating site activities and subcontractors

• Managing the earthworks material tracker

• Overseeing quality assurance processes, including testing and compliance

• 53-week initial contract with potential for further extensions

• Competitive Daily rates available 

• Standard Monday to Friday working pattern (weekend work not currently planned)
