Murray Recruitment are recruiting an Operations Manager for our client based in Glasgow.

Role Overview:

This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and experienced leader to take charge of daily operations within a fast-paced service environment.

The Operations Manager will oversee both office and field-based teams, ensuring optimal performance, adherence to safety standards, and high levels of customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will drive operational excellence, lead process improvements, and foster a culture of continuous development and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations across office and field teams.
  • Ensure internal and client-specific KPIs are consistently met.
  • Manage workflows to maintain efficiency, quality, and safety.
  • Lead and mentor the team to meet operational and strategic objectives.
  • Conduct employee appraisals and performance reviews.
  • Manage budgets, support financial goals, and identify cost-saving initiatives.
  • Drive compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain proactive and professional communication with clients.
  • Attend regular client review meetings.
  • Conduct field audits to ensure quality and health and safety compliance.

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven leadership and management experience within the mechanical, electrical, building services or facilities management industry.
  • Strong decision-making and team development abilities.
  • Demonstrated success in KPI fulfilment and process improvement.
  • Excellent communication and client management skills.
  • A valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required.
