Audit Semi-Senior or Senior - Top 30 firm Stevenage, Hertfordshire £30,000 to £50,000 Butler Rose public practice and delighted, once again, to be supporting our client, a prominent Nationwide Top 30 accounting firm with superb offices based in Stevenage, that are now eager to recruit an ambitious audit professional at either a semi-senior or senior level to compliment the growing Audit & Assurance department. This is a genuinely exciting opportunity for a driven individual to support the audit partners, assist the firm's customers in realising their goals, and influence the growth and success of the audit team. Role Requirements - Planning, execution, and completion of audits reporting to audit seniors but also directly to managers for lower risk audits. Preparation of accounts, reports and other assignments as required. Co-ordinate planning with clients, including liaising with relevant departments within the firm. Communicating and building relationships with clients and related third parties. Leading on-site audit teams and completing jobs with minimal supervision, to deadlines and within budget. Starting to become aware of business development, including promoting the firm and its services to the existing client base and prospects. Development and supervision of trainees. Person Requirements - ACA or ACCA qualified or studying with at least 2+ years' experience in a focused external audit role working for a prominent UK based accounting firm. Experience of leading external audit assignments from planning to completion stages under International Standards on Auditing Experience of preparing accounts in accordance with UK GAAP Able to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong communication skills with senior staff and clients Confident user of Microsoft Office suite - Intermediate/Advanced user of Word and Excel.
