Production Operator

Production Operator required to join a well-established precision engineering / manufacturing company, based in the Stevenage area. This role is integral to the manufacturing process, ensuring product quality, meeting production targets, and upholding safety standards.

• Operate and maintain manufacturing machinery following established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Inspect products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and report any issues.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals.
• Maintain accurate records of production activities and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Adhere to all company policies and safety regulations.

• Proven experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Technical proficiency in operating machinery and a keen attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork, communication skills, and safety awareness.
• Basic math skills for measuring and calculating quantities.
• High school diploma or equivalent (minimum requirement).
• Adaptability and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

• Day shift - 37.5 hours a week - flexible start and finish
