We are looking for a skilled Chef to join our culinary team. This position is perfect for someone passionate about creating exceptional dishes and providing a memorable dining experience. Candidates must have the right to work full-time in the UK and should ideally be local to St Albans.
Day-to-day of the role:- Prepare and cook meals according to the restaurant’s menu and recipes.
- Ensure that food preparation and presentation meet high-quality standards.
- Manage kitchen staff and delegate tasks related to meal prep, cooking, and delivering food in a timely fashion.
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage.
- Coordinate with the management team to plan menus, including future food trends and culinary advancements.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff on culinary techniques and best practices.
- Proven experience as a Chef with a strong track record in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Excellent knowledge of cooking techniques and various cooking methods.
- Familiarity with sanitation regulations.
- Time management abilities.
- Strong leadership, motivational, and people skills.
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience.
- Must live locally to St Albans.
- Must have the right to work full-time in the UK.
