Main purpose of job: We are seeking a skilled CNC Turner/Engineer with expertise in setting sliding head machines to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering and manufacturing, with a specific focus on CNC sliding head turning.
Cnc Turner Responsibilities
- Set up and operate Citizen CNC machines for turning operations
- Interpret technical drawings and program CNC machines accordingly
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as necessary to ensure quality output
- Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC equipment
- Collaborate with the engineering team to optimize processes and improve efficiency
- Adhere to safety protocols and quality standards(ISO9001) at all times
Day to Day:
- Setting up Citizen CNC machines for turning operations
- Programming machines based on technical drawings
- Monitoring machine performance and making necessary adjustments
- Collaborating with the engineering team to optimize processes
- Conducting maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC equipment
- Ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards (ISO9001)Â
- Not a clean job.
Desirable Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience as a CNC setter and turner
- In-depth knowledge of CNC programming and operation
- Strong understanding of sliding head turning techniques
- Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and specifications
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
- Excellent attention to detail and quality consciousness
- Knowledge of plastics would be advantageous
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Certification or diploma in engineering or related field is preferred
