A leading organisation is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Trade Compliance Lead - Special Procedures to ensure full compliance with UK customs regulations across key special procedures. This role is crucial in managing the movement of goods in and out of the UK, maintaining high standards and a strong working relationship with HMRC.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Inward Processing, Customs Warehousing, Temporary Importation, and Outward Processing.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure timely reporting to HMRC.
  • Advise on changes to customs authorisations and support process improvements.
  • Contribute to a high-performing customs compliance team and pursue professional development opportunities.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Solid experience in special customs procedures (from industry, consultancy, or HMRC).
  • In-depth knowledge of UK customs regulations.
  • Trustworthy, detail-focused, self-motivated, and an effective communicator.
  • Experience with customs software and/or a relevant qualification is advantageous.
