6 Months Contract (Aerospace & Defence)

Rate: £23.96/hr PAYE | £32/hr Umbrella

Are you experienced in technical document management and looking for an exciting short-term role in the aerospace and defence sector? We are seeking a Document & Data Manager to support multiple projects in a collaborative, high-tech environment.

About the Role

You will be responsible for managing internal and external project documentation and data, ensuring compliance with strict configuration and quality standards. Working closely with the Project Configuration Manager and CADM Team Leader, you will play a key role in keeping projects on track and maintaining accurate records. Occasional overseas travel may be required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Record, manage, and control project documents in the company PDM system (e.g., Windchill, Teamcenter).
  • Create and maintain metadata, data packs, and distribution lists.
  • Monitor document quality and propose process improvements.
  • Support internal teams and external stakeholders with document/data queries.
  • Ensure compliance with ITAR and security protocols.

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 2years’ experience in document control or technical/data management.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Aerospace/space engineering experience preferred.
  • Fluency in English; French or German advantageous.
