  • A degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred, along with SC security clearance or the ability to obtain it.
  • The work pattern is hybrid, requiring onsite presence three days a week, from Monday to Friday.

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Architect to join a cutting-edge project in missile and launcher system development. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in electronic system design, particularly within defence, aerospace, or automotive industries.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and specify system electrical requirements, interface definitions, and power architecture for missile and launcher systems

  • Develop and maintain data communication and processing architecture, including EMC, bonding, grounding, and safety protocols

  • Support test and fault-finding activities throughout compatibility checks, risk reduction, system proving, qualification, and integration

  • Review and author technical reports, guidelines, and processes

  • Conduct design assessments and analysis to ensure compliance with defence/industry standards

  • Act as Equipment Manager (RMO) for specific electrical/electronic equipment, managing the development, qualification, and manufacturing processes

  • Coordinate with internal and external design authorities to ensure on-time, on-budget, and quality delivery of equipment and systems



Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in electronic equipment design (ideally in a defence or highly regulated industry)

  • Strong understanding of interface definitions, power architecture, data communication, and EMC requirements

  • Experience with systems engineering and writing technical reports

  • Background in missile systems, weapon systems, or automotive/aerospace industries is desirable

  • Familiarity with Model-Based Engineering (MBE), Health Usage Monitoring Systems (HUMS), and actuators/sensors would be a plus

  • Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams and support design reviews and testing phases



Qualifications:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related subject is preferred, but not essential

  • SC clearance or the ability to obtain it
