Production Operator required to join a well-established precision engineering / manufacturing company, based in the Stevenage area. This role is integral to the manufacturing process, ensuring product quality, meeting production targets, and upholding safety standards.
Production Operator Job Overview- Operate and maintain manufacturing machinery following established procedures and safety guidelines.
- Inspect products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and report any issues.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals.
- Maintain accurate records of production activities and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Adhere to all company policies and safety regulations.
- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Technical proficiency in operating machinery and a keen attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork, communication skills, and safety awareness.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating quantities.
- High school diploma or equivalent (minimum requirement).
- Adaptability and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
