About the Role: We are seeking a motivated Finance Analyst to take responsibility for all areas of operational costs for a high performing client of ours. This role offers the opportunity to partner with the Senior Leadership Team, ensuring costs are within budget and identifying opportunities for cost savings. You will be encouraged to review existing processes and drive continuous improvements.
The role reports into a highly supportive Finance Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Partnering: Work closely with the ops team during month-end close, supporting monthly controls.
- Monthly Analysis: Analyse monthly ops spend, highlighting variances to budget and providing insightful commentary.
- Financial Modelling: Develop new financial models, tools, and reports to enhance visibility and efficiency.
- Cost Control: Collaborate with Cost Centre owners and Heads of Departments to ensure accurate cost control and forecasting.
- Recharge Management: Ensure recharges are correct, challenging any variances as necessary.
- Process Improvement: Assist the Finance Manager in reviewing and improving existing processes.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive ongoing improvements in financial processes and reporting.
Who You Are:
- Qualifications: ACA/CIMA/ACCA qualified.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Excel and experienced with financial systems.
- Experience: Skilled in budgeting and forecasting.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, capable of building strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Cost Structures: Strong understanding of central/overhead cost structures and allocations.
