Part-Time Fleet Administrator – Knebworth | £12–£13 per hour | 30 hours per week | Mon–Fri | Plant hire & construction support
Support a busy logistics and fleet team in a well-established, close-knit plant hire business with long-term staff and modern systems.

As a Part-Time Fleet Administrator, you will support the day-to-day running of the fleet, plant, and transport departments. From updating databases and monitoring compliance to assisting with logistics and certification tracking, this role is ideal for someone with strong organisational skills and a keen eye for detail. You'll work closely with drivers, the plant team, and the wider logistics department to ensure that everything is running smoothly and efficiently.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintain internal databases with accurate fleet, plant, and transport records
  • Respond to calls and emails in a professional and timely manner
  • Track driver certifications and training, ensuring full compliance
  • Coordinate vehicle MOTs, servicing, tax, and insurance
  • Liaise with site operatives and drivers regarding vehicle and plant queries
  • Assist with plant equipment certification and documentation
  • Support route planning and daily vehicle movement schedules
  • Help maintain yard organisation, compliance, and material stock awareness
