Cisco Lead Engineer

My top Consultancy client is currently looking for a passionate and skilled Cisco Lead Engineer to join their growing team. You'll play a key role in managing and optimizing cutting-edge communication platforms that keep their teams connected and productive.

This role is based in Hertfordshire on-site 5 days a week paying up to £60,000 and requires the successful candidate to undergo SC Clearance.

Your role

  • Resolve Level 2 and 3 Telephony / Videoconferencing Oriented Incidents
  • Respond to specific hardware or application requests.
  • Participate in Telephony / Videoconferencing Projects
  • Assist the operations teams on an ad hoc basis.
  • Ensure the MCO of the Telephony and Videoconferencing infrastructure.
  • Management of local team and sharing of skills.

Your skills and experience

  • Advanced knowledge of Cisco TOIP (CUCM, Unity Connection, Jabber, IPPhone, Cisco SBS, VG2xx.), Webex, and Cisco video conferencing (endpoints, TMS, Pexip ...)
  • Knowledge of VMware Suite and vSan
  • Storage Knowledge of Kurmi, Telsica, PeterConnects ecosystems
  • Good knowledge of SIP/H323 protocols and WAN/LAN and security as well as system administration and PC environment would be a plus.
  • Team Management/ People Skills.
