This is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract.
Responsibilities:
- As Electrophysiologist, you will join a small, focused preclinical R&D group focused on the discovery and development of novel ion channel therapeutics.
- Planning, execution and analysis of electrophysiology focused experiments to drive drug discovery and new target validation.
- Giving scientific presentations at internal and external meetings, including conferences and to partner companies
- A relevant PhD will be preferred
- Experience within in-vitro whole cell patch
- A strong understanding of ion chemicals, neuroscience and the principals ofelectrophysiology and pharmacology
- Experience with sold supported membrane-based electrophysiology (SSME) is desirable
- Competitive salary, ranging between 30,000 - 40,000
