HR / ER Generalist

Based in Central Hertfordshire

Salary £45-£55k

Delighted to be partnering with this leading business in their field. Based at the Head Office in Central Hertfordshire, you’ll play a key role in delivering first-class employee relations advice with a flexible, commercial and people-focused approach.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Managing a variety of ER casework including disciplinary, grievance, appeals, redundancy and consultations
  • Providing clear, pragmatic advice to managers that balances legislation, best practice and fairness
  • Advising on absence and wellbeing issues, including long-term sickness and capability, in collaboration with Occupational Health and insurance providers
  • Supporting complex people issues to drive the best outcomes for individuals and the business
  • Partnering with HRBPs on business-wide initiatives and capability development
  • Delivering impactful management development initiatives and sharing best practice

What you’ll bring:

  • CIPD qualified (or working towards)
  • Strong HR generalist experience and excellent knowledge of employment law
  • Proven ability to assess risk and make sound decisions
  • Skilled in absence and wellbeing management
  • Confident managing a diverse workload and building stakeholder relationships
  • Experience working with unions and understanding of TUPE (desirable)
