About the RoleTektora is working with a leading technology organisation to find a skilled Network Engineer to support and maintain critical infrastructure across a secure environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong hands-on experience in Cisco and Fortinet technologies, looking to develop their career within a high-assurance setting.
Key Responsibilities

Deploy, support and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls and wireless access points

Troubleshoot and resolve network incidents across LAN, WAN, and wireless environments

Collaborate with wider technical teams on network improvement and security hardening initiatives

Ensure documentation and network diagrams are up to date

Maintain compliance with industry and security standards in a sensitive environment
Essential Skills & Experience

Active SC Clearance (or eligible for SC)

Strong hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies (CCNA/CCNP-level knowledge desirable)

Solid experience with Fortinet firewalls and security appliances

Proven experience managing and supporting WiFi networks

Comfortable working in secure, high-availability environments
Desirable Skills

Exposure to or experience with Cisco Campus networking environments

Experience working within the Defence or Public Sector

Knowledge of network monitoring tools and best practices
