We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a dynamic Calibration & Maintenance Team within a high-tech manufacturing environment. This role involves both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive fault diagnosis on a range of process and environmental equipment, including vibration shakers, environmental chambers, and ESD systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform fault finding and repairs down to component level using technical documentation.
- Support operators with PPM tasks and ensure minimal equipment downtime.
- Maintain and update spares packages and manage external maintenance contracts.
- Work autonomously across varied and challenging tasks.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- HNC or higher in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Strong fault-finding skills and hands-on experience with electronic manufacturing machinery.
- Familiarity with CCA (Circuit Card Assembly) processes is desirable.
- Ability to interpret schematics, manuals, and circuit diagrams.
- Comfortable with physical tasks (e.g. accessing equipment in confined spaces).
Desirable:
- Experience in Defence/Aerospace sectors.
- Knowledge of SAP systems.
