Freelance Site Manager – Traditional build
Location:Â Stevenage
Contract Type: Freelance (Ongoing Project)
We’re looking for a hands-on, experienced Site Manager to join our growing team on a freelance basis for residential house-building projects near Stevenage.
As a Site Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations on site, ensuring that work is completed safely, on time, and to the highest standard. This is an ongoing project-based role, perfect for a motivated self-starter with a strong background in Traditional build.
Key Responsibilities:-
Manage all on-site construction activities

Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients

Ensure health & safety compliance

Maintain site records and reporting

Deliver quality homes on schedule and to spec

Proven experience managing residential construction sites

Strong leadership and communication skills
-
SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certification (preferred)

Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently

Must be able to travel to site near Stevenage
