Job Title: Locum Homecare Pharmacist• Location: Hertfordshire (part of a large private homecare provider)• Duration: 3-6 months• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm or 9:00am-5:00pm (30-minute lunch)• Start Date: ASAP• End Date: Rolling contract (initial 3-6 months)• Rate of Pay: £28-£32 per hour (via umbrella) depending on experience• Contact: Alex Roberts - -

What You'll Be Doing:Join our client's team as a Locum Homecare Pharmacist and play a key role in improving the lives of patients receiving care at home. In this role, you will:

  • carry out homecare prescription screening and clinical validation

  • ensure timely dispensing and delivery of medications to patients at home

  • work closely with clinical teams, patients, and suppliers to coordinate care

  • maintain compliance with SOPs and homecare governance standards

  • support service efficiency and contribute to service development

  • perform comprehensive patient assessments

  • create and implement personalised care plans

  • deliver evidence-based treatments to optimise patient outcomes

  • collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care

  • maintain accurate patient records

Requirements & Qualifications:To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • a current and valid GPhC registration as a pharmacist

  • prior experience in homecare or homecare screening

  • strong attention to detail and working knowledge of homecare SOPs

  • excellent communication and organisational skills

  • the ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment

  • a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care

Working Hours & Contract Duration:This role offers a full-time position, Monday to Friday. Some scope for hybrid working (1-2 days/week from home) may be considered following an initial period on site. The contract is for 3-6 months with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and service needs. Free on-site parking is available.
