Academics is seeking an Aspiring Educational Psychologist or an experienced Teaching Assistant to join the Education and Training sector!
This role as a SEMH Teaching Assistant it would be to work alongside the class teacher and other support staff, helping them to meet the differing needs of the children in the classroom. A flexible approach to the role is vital as you will need to support the classroom as a whole, as well as providing support to students individually when needed.
Role: Aspiring Educational Psychologist - SEMH Teaching Assistant
Work with: 55 students, in classes of 6-8 based on ability.
Salary: £460-£500 per week
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 - 15:30
Location: Stevenage, Hertfordshire

- An undergraduate degree (preferable) and/or prior experience with SEN - ideal for Criminology and Psychology graduates.
- A strong interest in mental health and Autism.
- Knowledge or keen interest in learning and behavioural needs, particularly SEMH.
