Our client, a prominent player in the defence and security sector, is currently seeking a skilled FPGA Engineer to join their team in Stevenage on a contract basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement FPGA solutions for various defence and security applications
- Perform FPGA verification to ensure functionality and performance
- Utilise VHDL for coding and designing FPGA architectures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate FPGA solutions into broader systems
- Conduct testing and debugging to resolve any hardware or software issues in FPGA designs
- Contribute to technical documentation and reporting
Job Requirements:
- Experience in FPGA design and verification
- Proficient in VHDL language
- Background in the defence, automotive, space, or design consultancy sectors preferred
- Ability to work fully on-site in Stevenage
- Security Clearance (SC) must be obtained before starting
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities

- Contract duration: 6 months, with the possibility of extension
